About The Therapy Room Stockport
As an Integrative Counsellor and Accredited Therapeutic Coach, I wanted to work in a space that felt like it cared about the client experience. I wanted it to be fit for purpose, not an after hours office space or a generic room which was devoid of warmth, personality and appeared unloved. I wanted a space that was well designed and gave the message that professional work was being done. A dynamic space, that allowed me to work in the way that I needed. Often working without colleagues, I wanted a space that felt safe. I wanted a place where I could take a break to grab a brew or eat my lunch away from my work space. I wanted a space to sit comfortably to do my paperwork in between clients. A space where I could work with both face-to-face and online clients interchangeably. I wanted to work somewhere where there was an easy booking system and the cost of that space was affordable.
I used my own experience to design The Therapy Room Stockport, affectionately known as the Throom. The whole building is a dedicated environment that is conducive to effective Therapist-Client work. All aspects of therapeutic work have been considered and implemented into the design and running of the rooms. From individual room video buzz entry for your convenience and safety to a staff space to take a few moments for a break in between clients. A flexible and easy booking system and straightforward pricing allows you to concentrate on what you want to do; working effectively with your clients.
